In August of 2005, Gary Lanier strolled
the beach at Biloxi, MS while on vacation with his wife, Valleta.
During that week he wrote 10 worship song. YOU ARE was one of them.
Their vacation was cut short, because Hurricane Katrina was coming
onshore. Leaving on Saturday, they looked back, not realizing that
Biloxi Beach would never be the same.
This worship song speaks to the
reassurance every Christian has that no matter the situation they
find themselves in, Jesus will always be their Savior, Shepherd,
Friend and Protector.
