Imagine how a parent feels when every
time their child comes to them it is only because they want
something for themselves. These thoughts are what brought Valleta
Lanier to think about her relationship with her Heavenly Father and
the Lord Jesus. Even though He wants His children to tell Him all of
their requests, Valleta believed there must be times when it would
be wonderful to go to them, simply to say, "I love you." These
thoughts prompted her to write this gentle worship song, I'M NOT
HERE FOR ME TODAY. Through the creativity ability of her husband,
Gary Lanier, an orchestra track was produced, then the final video.
